Well, we left yesterday at 8:15AM and after 14 hours, 660-some-odd miles, a mid-day stop at the Baseball

Hall of Fame, and hearing Jason Mraz's "I'm Yours" on the radio a total of twelve times we finally made it to Cleveland, Ohio!
On the way here, what we thought would be a quick detour to Cooperstown, NY for the Baseball HOF, ended up being quite the backroad adventure through a few New York towns that eas
ily set the scene for the next "Hill Have Eyes." We were pretty sure all along that GoogleMaps was playing a trick and leading us to the middle of nowhere, when low and behold tiny little Cooperstown, NY appears out of the woods.
Paul joined Bert and I for the HOF tour as we observed the displays and read about the history behind why the Red Sox and so great and the Yankees are terrible. The town itself is pretty much exactly what you would expect: one main drag where every shop and restaurant had a baseball theme and claimed to have the best souvenirs or the most peanuts and crackerjacks. Definitely a stop every baseball fan should make at some point in their lives but be ready for seeing awhole lot of nothing on your way there.
Another four hours later and we were finally out of the state of New York, away from its awful drivers, and eventually into Ohio - see the excitement in the Pennsylvania picture. Cleveland seems like it has a lot to offer, but we didn't get in until three hours after that at 10:30 so the only thing on our minds was food (and a few beers). Needless to say, seeing the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame will have to come another day, as we're off to Chicago now. It's a short drive today, only 6 hours, so we can get there in time to watch the Pats
game. Hope everything's well back home in Massachusetts, Connecticut, North Carolina, Georgia, Florida, or wherever else that may be!
GO PATS!
